Interested in Becoming a New Patient?

We offer several care options for new patients to see Dr. Powers or another one of our great providers. How to become a new patient and insurance information for our care options are included below.

Become a Patient of Dr. Powers

  • Dr. Powers has a Direct Primary Care (DPC) model and does not accept insurance.

    The membership provides expanded access to Dr. Powers and select services without copays, deductibles and without billing or using insurance.

    You can learn about the fees and included services in our Membership details.

    Our other providers accept Michigan Meridian Medicaid, Michigan MeridianComplete Medicare-Medicaid, Commercial (Private) insurance, and Self-Pay (Uninsured) patients.

  • Use the “Dr. Powers Sign Up” button to inquire.

    There are limited spaces. The membership roster is full at most times, so please be aware that we will likely have a waitlist.

Become a Patient of Another Provider

  • We accept:

    • Michigan Meridian Medicaid

    • Michigan Meridian Complete Medicare-Medicaid

    • Commercial (Private) insurance

    • Self-Pay (Uninsured)


    We do not accept other types of Medicaid.

    If you have another type of Medicaid, you will need to switch Medicaid programs to remain a patient.

    Michigan Open Enrollment is open until January 15. You can learn about plan options, and switching to Meridian, via the Michigan Health Insurance Website.

  • Use the “Other Providers Sign Up” button to indicate your interest in becoming a new patient.

    Please be aware that filling out the form does not automatically make you a patient of Powers Family Medicine.
